Welcome to The Ear Clinic By Laura.
I'm Laura, a registered Nurse and cardiac clinical sister currently working within the NHS. Alongside my NHS role, I provide specialist ear wax removal services with the same high standards of care, professionalism, and safety that I uphold every day in clinical practice.
I genuinely care about helping people feel comfortable, listened to, and reassured. I understand how frustrating and worrying it can be with blocked ears, which is why I always take the time to carefully assess your ears, explain everything clearly, and answer any questions before starting treatment.
I will only proceed with ear wax removal if it is safe and appropriate to do so.
My aim is for you to feel relaxed, confident, and well cared for throughout your appointment, as I prioritise your hearing health.

Appointment Information
I offer mobile ear health visits for clients who find it challenging to attend a clinic or prefer treatment in the comfort of their own home. You will receive the same high standard of registered nurse-led care with safe, gentle ear wax removal using professional equipment, ensuring your hearing health is prioritised.
During your appointment, a video otoscopy will be utilised to safely examine the ear canal before and after treatment. This allows for a clear, magnified view of the ear and helps accurately assess the presence of ear wax.
After treatment, the video otoscopy is used again to confirm that the ear canal is clear and healthy. When appropriate, patients are offered the opportunity to see the before and after images, providing reassurance, transparency, and confidence in the audiology services received.
I am happy to accommodate clients with additional medical conditions, learning difficulties, sensory sensitivities, or mobility needs. Appointments are tailored to each individual, with extra time and a calm, supportive approach to ensure comfort and safety at all times.
